Situated 20 km’s from Te Anau, Manapouri township lies nestled against the shores of Lake Manapouri and the banks of the Waiau River. Across the Waiau River lies the Manapouri Track which provides a variety of walking options from 4 hour hikes to overnight or multiple-day walks.

As the tracks are less accessible, Manapouri's Back Valley is the perfect peaceful option.
